Featured Speakers
Melvin I. Fineberg, ASA is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers with a specialty in Machinery and Equipment. He is currently Principal of Fineberg Consulting Service, a Full Service Appraising and Consulting Firm. Mr. Fineberg has been appraising machinery and equipment for over 30 years and is a Senior Instructor in Machinery and Technical Specialties for the American Society of Appraisers. He is a past Governor and Chairman of the Machinery and Technical Specialties Committee of the American Society of Appraisers and is currently an Emeritus Member of that committee. He has been a contributor to the various editions of “Valuing Machinery and Equipment” textbook, a guest speaker at various conferences and seminars, and has written articles in appraising for the past 15 years.
Mike Clark is President of L & M Publications, Inc., publisher of The Book ~ ~ Pricing Guides for Industrial Machinery & Equipment. L & M has been publishing pricing guides for industrial machinery and equipment since 1993.
Mike has held executive positions with industrial publishers since 1976. He was controller and then general manager of Industrial Machinery News in Detroit. He served at IMN from 1976 thru 1989. He then worked at Black Book (publisher of pricing guides for automobiles) from 1990 thru 1992.
Mr. Clark is an associate member of the American Society of Appraisers. He is active in many of their seminars.
Mr. Clark has a B.A. in Finance for Western Michigan University and an MBA in Accounting from University of Detroit.
Richard Bass, CEA is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology, 1971 B.S. in Business Administration and currently the President of Rudolf Bass Inc., 45 Halladay St, Jersey City, NJ 07304, Est. 1918, Distributor of Domestic, Foreign New & Used Woodworking Machinery. Mr. Bass has been a member of AMEA since 1997, member of several organizations and served on many boards.
