A Letter from the AMEA New President
June 9, 2009
Members of AMEA, MDNA, associates and friends,
Thank you! I consider it quite an honor to have this opportunity to serve as President of AMEA for the next two years. As I have told many of you in the past the successes both professional and personal I have experienced since founding my machinery business and appraisal practice almost 8 years ago were due in no small part to benefits of being an active member of both AMEA and MDNA. Sharing opportunity to profit and grow, knowledge of the market and business connections have all come back many times over and I’m grateful for this opportunity to give back and support two organizations that have done so much for me.
I think it would be an understatement to say we are facing very challenging times. Our markets have never been more difficult to predict and our customers are demanding new levels of service; performance and reporting. As your president I pledge that together with your dedicated Board of Directors I will continue to keep your interests and needs my top priority. Goals and objectives include; continuing to build our brands, better access to market / economic trends and comparable sales, new opportunities to network with the experts and finally a continuing education program that provides opportunity for professional growth for those just starting out and those with years of experience.
I am confident that the strategic and operational challenges ahead will result in new opportunities. Your questions and or comments are always welcome.
Regards

R. F. "Casey" Mulqueen, CEA
